A Visit to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte

Pagudpud is one of the most visited places in Ilocos Norte. And why shouldn’t it be? It has beautiful beaches and the food is to die for. This December, I’m sure many of you will be planning trips out of town. I highly recommend Ilocos Norte, more specifically Pagudpud.

Almost Paradise
This shot was taken in Polaris Beach Resort where we stayed last December 2006. Many of the resorts are fully booked during this time so make sure you make your reservations way before your trip. This image has been included in Ilocos Norte : In Focus.

I hope you guys will visit Pagudpud. It has clear waters, white sand beaches and of course, wonderful food. :)

sa polaris din ako nag-stay dati. very friendly and accommodating staff. we had baon and they allowed us to put it inside the ref para di masira. tapos free reheating pa kinabukasan. you can also buy the freshest seafoods from the fishermen and have it cooked at polaris for a small fee.

the 12-hour trip is worth every second dahil ang dami pwede pasyalan.. beach, lighthouse, windmills, old churches, herencia resto in front of paoay church.. there’s something for everyone. gusto ko tuloy bumalik!

i so love pagudpud!!! we also stayed in polaris beach house back in may 2006. although saud beach is also beautiful, i prefer blue lagoon as it is “more remote”. ansarap bumalik dun ano?

and your shots are so sharp, i like the registry of the coconut trees both against the sand and the blue sky!

We happened to pass by Pagudpod nong umikot kami sa Northern Luzon, unfortunately gabi kaya we didn’t have the opportunity to take a peek of its grandeur.
Ganda ng mga kuha mo dito. Best talaga ang Canon (of course, you did it well too)…

Bumalik ka pala sa Pagudpud. Love love the 1st and 2nd pic. Napaka tropical and summer. And tamang tama lang ang kulay.
