A Visit to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte

Pagudpud is one of the most visited places in Ilocos Norte. And why shouldn’t it be? It has beautiful beaches and the food is to die for. This December, I’m sure many of you will be planning trips out of town. I highly recommend Ilocos Norte, more specifically Pagudpud.

Almost Paradise
This shot was taken in Polaris Beach Resort where we stayed last December 2006. Many of the resorts are fully booked during this time so make sure you make your reservations way before your trip. This image has been included in Ilocos Norte : In Focus.

Still taken near Polaris Beach Resort.

I hope you guys will visit Pagudpud. It has clear waters, white sand beaches and of course, wonderful food. :)

Singing Mummy

How was the long weekend everyone? I’m pretty sure most of you went to your respective provinces to commemorate All Saints/All Souls Day. For me, we pretty much stayed in Baguio and was able to roam around Ilocos on November 1.

Right now, I just want to share a picture I took in a local mall here that had a Halloween costume party. This boy is singing, “Makita Kang Muli” (OST of Panday) as his mother urged him on. The boy is wearing a barong and had bandages on his head. He of course won a prize. This picture is the 11th entry of my Project 365.

For now, take care everyone :) I’ll be uploading pictures from Ilocos in my future posts.
